Once your petition has been reviewed, a decision will be made to grant or deny your request using the guidelines established by the Dean's Advisory Committee. All updates regarding your petition status will be available for you on eService by viewing your messages in the inbox. The message you receive contains important information, as well as any additional steps that you are required to complete.
If your petition is granted, the Registrar's Office may record a notation on your transcript (where relevant). The following have no grade point value, does not grant you a credit, and will not impact your GPA until a final grade has been submitted for you.
|Withdrawal by petition without academic penalty after the relevant deadline
|Grade withheld pending review
|Standing deferred on the basis of incomplete course work due to medical or similar means
If your petition is refused, you have the opportunity to appeal the decision.
