Summer 2021 Fees Invoicing, Payment and Refund Dates

General financial dates for all UTSC students

Fee Assessment/ Invoices available April 12
Deadline to register by paying or deferring your fees* April 21
Fee deferral request period April 13 - April 21
Late registration penalty applied at the Registrar's Office
if you enrol in your initial course(s) after April 21
April 22
Financial cancellation and course removal date
due to non-payment or unsuccessful fee deferral
April 28
Deadline to cancel F or Y registration (i.e., drop all of
your courses) with no minimum charge
May 6
Deadline to cancel S registration (i.e., drop all of
your courses) with no minimum charge
June 27
Deadline to pay Summer semester balance
to avoid service charges
May 31
Monthly service charges applied to all accounts
with an outstanding Summer semester balance on
these dates until fees are paid in full

August 15, etc.

* Students who rely on financial aid to pay their registration fee are advised to apply for funding early in order to request a tuition fee deferral. Students who are deemed ineligible for a fee deferral are required to make a tuition payment on their own to register, and reserve their spot in the courses they have chosen. Make financial arrangements early

Apply for a fee deferral on ACORN during this period.

Allow at least 7 days from the day you submitted your OSAP extension (or application on OSAP website) for us to update the Fee Deferral database. If you experience any problems, contact the Registrar’s Office immediately via email: askro.utsc@utoronto.ca

If you require a fee deferral, apply by:

We expect all students requiring a fee deferral to register to apply for funding by the suggested deadline.

If you require a fee deferral, apply by:

We expect all students requiring a fee deferral to register to apply for funding by the suggested deadline.  Apply for Part Time OSAP online on the OSAP website. Out-of-Province student must apply through their province.

OSAP Supporting Documents & Reviews/Appeals

Supporting documentation and appeals must be received by the deadline date (40 days prior to the last day of the study period). This is a hard deadline. These deadlines apply to both Full Time and Part Time OSAP application. 

Continuation of Interest Free Status (CIFS) Aug 7, 2021

Apply for CIFS by logging in to your OSAP Account. Start a new application by choosing the Interest Free option.

Who should use this application?

1.Students participating in a co-op work term during the 2021 Summer session areadvised to complete this application, if they are not applying for OSAP funding.
2.Students who are attending classes on a full-time basis and who are not applyingfor OSAP funding.
Follow up with National Student Loan Service Centre approximately 15 days after submission on your OSAP account: 1-888-815-4514.
UTSC Grant/Bursary -Online Application Aug 4, 2021 Apply for financial assistance using the online application at the U of T Grant Application Portal starting on May 1, 2021.
