Townhouse living at U of T Scarborough provides the opportunity to stay, study and engage in one of the most scenic parts of campus while also living minutes away from academic buildings and facilities. There are 13 townhouse halls spread across the North Residence (Juniper, Koa, Larch, and Maple Halls) and South Residence (Aspen, Birch, Cedar, Dogwood, Elm, Fir, Grey Pine, Hickory, and Ironwood Halls).
Each fully-furnished, self-contained unit contains 4-6 bedrooms, 1-2 toilet rooms, 1 shower, a full kitchen, storage area(s) and a living room/dining room.
Utilities and campus wireless internet are included in your residence fees. Additional costs may include meals (optional meal plan available), telephone, cable and laundry.
Townhouse bedrooms are fully furnished with a bed, desk, chair, dresser, and closet space. Laundry rooms are accessible 24 hours a day. Accessible housing is available.
Students select to live one of the three gender rooming types offered: all gender, same gender women, or same gender men housing. An LGBTQ+ option is also available.
Students may submit roommate requests on the Student Housing Portal.
Residence advisors are housed in each hall to lead the community and offer support. The Residence Life team are available 7 days a week to provide resident assistance.
- Single bedroom (120-140 approximate square feet)
- Single bedroom – compact size (100 approximate square feet, including closet). This smaller private bedroom is offered at a lower cost. Available only in 6-person South Residence townhouses.
- Shared bedroom (180 approximate square feet): double occupancy room with furniture for each occupant. Upper level and basement level offered at different rates. Available only in 6-person South Residence townhouses.
