Once you've settled into your residence room and bid farewell to your parents and family, join us our Residence & Campus events. We are excited to be able to connect with you virtually and in-person, and we have some amazing programming planned. Check with your community Residence Advisor for upcoming community events!

During residence and campus events, you will get an opportunity to:

  • Engage in social activities online and develop your identity as a UTSC resident
  • Meet your residence assistant and floor mates and begin to form lasting friendships

Prepating to Rent Off-Campus Monday, January 10th at 9:30 AM and again at 1:30 PM 
Join the staff of UTSC’s Student Housing and Residence Life department as they help you understand how to look for off-campus housing. How much should you pay, where to search, and what to consider in a lease are all questions that will be answered at our “Preparing to Rent Off-Campus” information sessions on January 10th. These virtual workshops will be at 9:30 AM (passcode 721040) and again at 1:30 PM (passcode 988139) and the same information will be presented at each session. Residence Life Team Hiring Information Session Wednesday, January 12th at 5 PM

Join us on January 12th at 5 PM to learn about how you can make a difference in residence as a Lead Residence Advisor, Residence Advisor, or Residence Engagement Facilitator in 2022-23. These unique roles provide the opportunity to live and learn alongside UTSC residents, assist fellow residents with personal and educational matters, and foster a sense of community in residence. These roles also provide the opportunity to build skills that will be useful in any future career.

Beginning September 13, in order to attend University premises for any reason you must:

  1. Provide proof of vaccination.
  2. Complete daily health screenings via UCheck.

Starting September 6, you will be able to upload proof of vaccination in UCheck. Only the vaccine receipt(s) that provide(s) proof that you are fully vaccinated is/are required to be uploaded. Instructions on how to upload documents are available on the UCheck website. The provincial government will be launching a vaccine passport program effective September 22 that will provide a way to verify vaccination status for those without UCheck access. We will provide additional details as they become available.
