Moving In

Easy Steps to Check-In

Check back here after June 1st for Move-In details.

Late Arrivals

If you will arrive after check-in day, email us before August 16, 2019 with your name, student number, date of arrival and approximate time. Students who do not check in without prior notice on the scheduled move-in date, are at risk of losing their space in residence.

Room Assignments

Room assignments will be sent two weeks ahead of your move in date. Room assignments may be subject to change prior to move in day.

Pre-order your linens

Our partnership with Residence Linens offers you the opportunity to pre-order your bedding and linens right to your residence room. If you order by August 28, 2019, your bedding will be in your room when you arrive on move-in day.

Residence Orientation

All incoming-first year students are automatically registered for Residence Orientation at no additional cost. Residence Orientation is an exciting program that offers first-year students the chance to get to know fellow students in the residence community and become familiar with their new home in a comfortable yet exciting environment.

Residence Orientation runs the first few days starting from Move In Date.

Item/Unit Condition Report

Each resident is required to complete a unit condition report verifying the condition of their residence room at move-in. This is an opportunity for students to identify and report any damaged or missing elements so that they can be fixed and to ensure that they are not held responsible for any damage the did not cause. This form must be completed within 48 hours of moving in or your room will be deemed satisfactory. Please click here for detailed instructions on completing the form.

If you find that anything is missing or damaged at move-in, or throughout the year, you should submit a Repair Request Form. Please click here for detailed instructions on submitting a repair request.
