Do you need help understanding your first-year course content?

Not to worry! The Department of Management offers a free service for first-year students to participate in a Peer Tutor Program to help you with your core courses. Start early to build smart study skills and make new friends in the upper year.

Currently, we are seeking peer tutors and tutees for the following courses:


Calculus for Management I


Calculus for Management II


Introductory Financial Accounting I


Introductory Financial Accounting II


Introduction to Microeconomics: A Mathematical Approach


Introduction to Macroeconomics: A Mathematical Approach


  • An upper-year student will spend one-on-one time with you to help you understand your challenges in a specific course. This is an addition to TAs and faculty support who are also available to answer your questions and help yo succeed.
  • You meet weekly for one hour for a minimum of three weeks for each course that you need help with, and you can extend this weekly support for the length of the entire course. 
  • You can also join a Management Smart Study Group, where you and your peers can help each other understand course materials on a regular basis.


Key Dates

  •  Apply early to get matched to a peer tutor. You can apply every semester, two weeks after the first day of each semester and even after your midterms.
