CTL Math and Statistics Support provides free seminars, workshops, virtual tutoring, individual appointments and small-group consultations to improve students’ proficiency in a variety of mathematics and statistics subjects. Our main goal is to create a friendly, vibrant environment in which all students can come to appreciate the beauty and utility of mathematics.

Math and Stats Support offers online support through Zoom Sessions and limited in-person hours. Please see the schedule below to meet with a teaching assistant (TA) during regularly scheduled office hours.

Mathematics is often required in first-year UofT Scarborough courses such as biology, chemistry, physics and statistics.
The Online Mathematics Preparedness Course is a short, intensive online program supervised by U of T Scarborough faculty that introduces the assignments, expectations and experiences that you will encounter in math courses. The Online Mathematics Preparedness Course can help you increase your confidence in preparation for university-level studies and make a more successful transition from high school to university. Students who receive 65% or higher in this non-credit course, can use it as a prerequisite for BIOA01H3, MATA29H3, MATA30H3 or MATA32H3 at UTSC.
