Matthias Niemeier is a cognitive neuropsychologist. His research focuses on attention and other forms of expectations or predictions that the human brain uses to improve its perceptions and actions. He studies brain functions in healthy individuals, in patients with stroke as well as individuals with developmental challenges such as ADHD. He uses different imaging techniques, psychophysical methods, and motion tracker for hands, arms and eyes.
