Research Interests My research concerns the cognitive and neural bases of attention, spatial perception and object recognition. How does the brain use these functions in the context of its sensory inputs and motor outputs? To answer this question, I am using fMRI, EEG, eye and arm movement recordings and methods of experimental psychology to study normal participants and neurological patients, and I am testing models of the brain functions in computer simulations.
