Tap into accessing your employability! This event will help create a tool kit for success in the workplace. Topics covered will include self-disclosure (the when and how) and the power of self-advocacy. Keynote TerriLynn Hulett, Accessibility Talent Specialist from the City of Toronto will lead a 1-hour discussion where she will share parts of her own story, positive things to look for regarding inclusion in the workplace, on job descriptions etc., ways to self-advocate when dealing with managers and colleagues, and tips on how/when/where to ask for an accommodation. Participants will leave with a take-a-way tip sheet on various ways to access their employability.
