R. Michael Bagby, Ph.D., ABAP, C. Psych. (Professor and Chair, Graduate Program in Psychological Clinical Sciences), is a clinical psychologist with clinical and research interests in a wide range of clinical issues including the detection of malingering with objective psychological tests and structured interviews; personality psychopathology, with a particular focus on the dimensionally-based model of personality disorders (Section III) in DSM-5; the optimization treatment of outcome for evidence-based interventions for depression using dimensional personality traits; psychodiagnosis; and the phenotypic structure of psychopathology. He maintains an active program of research in each of these areas.
