Canadian Graduate Scholarships - Master's (CGS-M)
The 2021-22 CGS-M award applications are due December 1, 2021 by 8:00 PM. The Graduate Awards Office strongly recommends that you submit your application at least a day before the deadline. Based on previous years’ experience, we anticipate that Research Portal will be overwhelmed with traffic causing severe system lag and delays on December 1st, which may cause you to be unable to submit by the deadline. No exceptions are made if the application is not submitted by the deadline due to heavy traffic on the website.
As well, past experience has shown that many applicants were unable to submit their applications on time due to missing the required reference assessments. We encourage you to ensure that your referees have completed their assessments well in advance of the December 1st deadline. If your referees are having difficulties with the reference form please refer them to the Canada Graduate Scholarships Master’s Instructions for Completing a Reference Assessment Form. Keep in mind, you are unable to submit your application until both references are completed.
