Please join us in celebrating the launch of the English Department’s new Visual Storytelling Lab at UTSC!
Our new Visual Storytelling Lab (VSL) invites UTSC students, faculty, and the Scarborough community to a celebratory launch that features a showcase of exciting and inspiring student work in Visual Storytelling.
Join us for a special viewing of short films by a group of talented students from renowned multimedia artist Midi Onodera’s Video I class, adventure through student-made comics produced in Sonja Nikkila’s “Superheroes” course, and explore the documentary form with Alice Maurice.
The Visual Storytelling Lab is designed to support student work, inspire collaboration and community-building, and connect students with others who are working in Visual Storytelling. Our goal with the launch is to bring UTSC and the broader Scarborough community together to outline the vision for the Lab, celebrate student work, and kick-start the collaboration process.
