Enhancing Long Term Memory

Memorization is an important component to learning, but it is often not a strategy that is effective alone. Multiple strategies are needed to remember course information, as different content is best encoded in the brain differently. To better remember information, ensure you understand the information first. See “Enhancing Comprehension” for more details.

This section covers the following strategies:

  • Mind Mapping
  • Mnemonics
  • Flashcards
  • Songs and Music
