Where Should I Start?
Although writing is an excellent process through which learning occurs, it is one of the most complex processes academically. Many students with and without disabilities find it challenging. Writing academic papers can differ greatly across different subjects; however, there is a general process you can follow when approaching your writing assignments. Note that it is not uncommon to need to revisit certain steps as you develop ideas and create your assignment. There are many supports and resources available across the University of Toronto. If you get stuck at any point in the writing process, you can visit your campus’s writing services.
