Registered student prices are for UofT students taking summer academic courses or those who have purchased a summer non-registered student membership for the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. Register online at recreg.utoronto.ca or in person at the TPASC Registration Desk. A Login ID and PIN are required for online registration. Contact the Athletics Department (416 283-2918) or email Candice Pope with your Student Number. Once you have your Login ID and PIN, visit University of Toronto Program Registration to register for classes. The course code for each trip can be found below.
Non-registered student prices are for UofT students who are not taking summer academic courses, along with UTSC Faculty, Staff and recent U of T grads. To register, please contact Laurie Wright firstname.lastname@example.org. Your email should include the trip details, student number (if applicable) and how you are associated to UofT. External guests of participants are not eligible to attend Outdoor Recreation Trips unless space allows.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued 5 business days prior to the trip. All trips are weather dependent and may be rescheduled or cancelled. Full refunds will be given, upon request, for rescheduled trips.
For all trips that include being on boat or in the water, we are now providing a FREE deep water orientation session at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. This one hour class will include jumping into the water with a life jacket on and getting to the edge of the pool safely. No swim experience necesary. Please note that all Outdoor Recreation trips that include transportation will meet at the East entrance of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (875 Morningside Ave). This will be the pick up and drop off location.

Participants will travel by bus up to Horseshoe Valley Resort for a 3-hour Treetop Trekking adventure. Treetop Trekking involves a combination of zip-lining and climbing through obstacle courses in a serene forest setting. There are beginner, intermediate and advanced courses available. All participants will be taken through a safety orientation by certified instructors. Snacks are included, bring your own lunch. All necessary equipment will be provided; no experience necessary. Dress for the weather - trip will still run in light rain.

Discover Websters and Tew Waterfalls, lookout points and trails on the Spencer Adventure Trail in the Hamilton Conservation Area. We will hike through the trails from Christie Lake to Dundas Peak, exploring the historic mills and dams, waterfalls along with the incredible vista viewpoints.. You may hike with our trip guides or on your own. There will be some free time to enjoy the sandy beach and other hiking trails around Christie Lake. We will also set-up beach volleyball, a slack line and other activities. Bus transportation and snacks are included.

Camping & Kayaking in the 1000 Islands
Tour with us to the popular paradise of the 1000 Islands. It's located along the St. Lawrence River by Gananoque and bordering the state of New York. In a group, we will kayak over to McDonald Island, where we will camp for 2 nights and have almost exclusive use of the Island. During the day, we will explore by kayak and foot the surrounding islands, beaches and historical castles. No camping or kayak experience is necessary, however, you must complete a Deep Water Orientation session to attend this trip.

Outdoor Rock Climbing or Hiking
Rock Climbing: A bus will transport participants to the Milton area at Rattlesnake Point where students will challenge themselves to climb up to 80 ft. on some of the best rock in Southern Ontario. All instructors are fully certified and all equipment will be provided. A custom course will be set up to meet needs of climbers.
Hiking: The hike will take place through some of the Bruce Peninsula trails and Halton Parks. Participants will have over 20kms of trails to choose from. You may hike with a group or follow the map trails with some friends. Transportation is provided.

White Water Rafting on the Ottawa River
End your summer with a trilling splash! We'll take a bus up to the Ottawa River to spend 2 nights and 3 days at the beautiful Wilderness Rafting Resort. Participants must complete the free Deep Water Orientation and be comfortable in open water. Bring your own sleeping bag and tent.
