Registered student prices are for UofT students taking Summer academic courses or those who have purchased a summer non-registered student membership for the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. Register online at recreation.utoronto.ca or in person at the TPASC Registration Desk. U of T students, staff and faculty will be able to log in to the new recreation website using their UTORid.
Non-registered student prices are for UofT students who are not taking Summer academic courses, along with UTSC Faculty, Staff and recent U of T grads. To register, please contact Laurie Wright email@example.com. Your email should include the trip details, student number (if applicable) and how you are associated to UofT. External guests of participants are not eligible to attend Outdoor Recreation Trips unless space allows.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued 5 business days prior to the trip. All trips are weather dependent and may be rescheduled or cancelled. Full refunds will be given, upon request, for rescheduled trips.
For all trips that include being on boat or in the water, we are now providing a FREE deep water orientation session at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre. This one hour class will include jumping into the water with a life jacket on and getting to the edge of the pool safely. No swim experience necesary. Please note that all Outdoor Recreation trips that include transportation will meet at the east entrance of the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (875 Morningside Ave). This will be the pick up and drop off location.

Birdwatching Hike at Tommy Thompson Park
Discover this hidden gem on the peninsula of downtown Toronto. This area is considered one of the best places for bird watching in the city with more than 300 recorded species. A guide will take us to their private research station to view some birds up close. We'll travel through the trails with binoculars to spot many birds that stop here to migrate. Bring your own lunch.

Participants will travel up to Ganaraska Forest for a 3 hour Treetop Trekking adventure. It will involve a combination of zip-lining and climbing through obstacle courses in a serene forest setting. There are beginner, intermediate and advanced courses available. All participants will be taken through a safety orientation by certified instructors. All necessary equipment will be provided, no experience necessary.

Learn to Fish
Join us for an opportunity to fish for 2 hours at Darlington Provincial Park. All fishing equipment and bait will be provided. You will also have an opportunity to hike along the beaches of Lake Ontario and trek through the nature trails.

Caving & Trekking
This adventurous hike will take you over southern Ontario's longest suspension bridge, through a labyrinth of caves and crevices and through nature trails with a panoramic view of the surrounding Blue Mountains. Our trip leaders will guide you through the area. Bring your own lunch or purchase from the snack bar. Zip line adventure available at an extra cost

Camping at Algonquin Park
Tour with us to the world famous Algonquin wilderness park. With guides, we will explore the remote area by canoe and foot. Plus enjoy campfires, cooking outdoors and star gazing.
Registration includes: transportation, 2 nights camping, canoe orientation & equipment, 5 meals, tents and camping equipment.
No camping or canoe experience necessary. Must complete a deep water orientation session prior to trip and be comfortable around water.

Outdoor Rock Climbing & Hiking
Travel to Milton, Ontario to either hike the area or rock climb the cliff face. The rock climbing will take place at Rattlesnake Point and is an opportunity for students to challenge themselves to climb up to 80ft on some of he best rock in Southern Ontario in a beautiful natural setting. All necessary equipment and helmet are included.
The hike will take place through some of the Bruce Peninsula trails and Halton Parks, you'll have over 20kms of trails to choose from.

Rouge Valley Hike
Take in the lush colours and scenery while hiking through the trails at this local national park. A Parks Canada guide will lead the group for a 2.5 hour hike explaining a variety of historical, ecological material and help us spot wildlife in the area.

White Water Rafting
End your summer with a thrilling splash! Travel up to the Ottawa River to spend 2 nights and 3 days at the beautiful Wilderness Tours Resort. Must complete a deep water orientation session prior to trip and be comfortable around open water.
Registration includes: Transportation, 2 nights camping, 2 days rafting with all necessary equipment, 6 full meals and resort activities. Bring your sleeping bag. We can provide tents on request.
