Welcome to the Department of Political Science

Welcome to the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto Scarborough. Created as a self-standing department in July 2012, Political Science has offered undergraduate programs since the Scarborough campus of the University of Toronto opened in the late 1960s. For the past four decades, our faculty and our courses have been giving students the knowledge and tools they need to understand the critical issues that affect all our lives.

Whether it is globalization, corruption and violence, international conflict and cooperation, democracy and authoritarianism, ethnic and religious conflicts, ancient and modern philosophy, domestic or global public policy, or some other topic that interests you, our faculty offer courses that will satisfy your curiosity and nourish your mind
