Biography

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for facilitating, implementing and coordinating priorities and directions established by the Vice-Deans Teaching, Learning & Undergraduate Programs and Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies 

  • Oversee key areas within the undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral fellowship portfolio including programs and curriculum, combined degree programs, access initiatives, experiential learning, graduate funding packages, teaching, undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral awards, and the Scholars in Residence (SiR) program. 

As Manager Undergraduate, Graduate & Post-doctoral Initiatives, Shelley Eisner works closely with the Assistant Dean, Vice-Dean Teaching, Learning & Undergraduate Programs, Vice-Dean Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies, Associate Dean Undergraduate Programs & Curriculum and Special Advisors with projects under the portfolios.

Appointed the inaugural Campus Graduate Administrator in 2010, her tenure at U of T runs longer with work at the School of Graduate Studies and before that, her experience as an undergraduate (conferring a Bachelor of Arts – Trinity College). She has made incredible impact at U of T Scarborough through her involvement with the development of 3 graduate departments and 2 collaborative specializations, and has seen the creation and administration of over 25 graduate and postdoctoral awards. Through her consultative approach she improved the graduate funding package processes making an overall better graduate experience for members at U of T Scarborough.
