Access Control Systems

Electronic access control at UTSC is centrally managed by Campus Safety Operations.  All alarms and notifications are sent to the UTSC Special Constables on shift.

Due to operational needs, access to some areas of the campus require electronic access control. Access control includes electric lock hardware, card readers, door contacts, request-to-exit devices and security credentials.  In general, access control can be found on exterior doors, labs, lecture halls, office suites and building operation locations.

If you would like to request the new installation of an access control system for your area, please contact the Manager of Security Systems and Services.
