The art of telling a story to someone is the making of a link between teller and listener. This hands-on workshop is designed to help you get your message across to your listeners in comfort and confidence. You'll tell, you'll listen, you'll involve yourself in the delightful process of storytelling.
Gratitude is an emotion celebrated in many stories, ancient and modern. Think of an incident from some part of your life from childhood onwards, in which you felt gratitude to a particular person, to God, or to your lucky star, and bring that memory to share.
Marylyn Peringer has been sharing stories with listeners of all ages across Canada for over 40 years. She teaches storytelling courses to adults as part of her job as Co-Resident Teacher at Storytelling Toronto, an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the art of oral storytelling.
