Gospel Choral Workshop

Join us for a 2-hour participatory workshop on gospel choral music with Karen Burke, chair of music at York University and artistic director of the Toronto Mass Choir (Toronto’s premiere community gospel choir). You will learn important stylistic elements of the genre including types of gospel music and the history of gospel singing. The workshop is open to everyone to participate.
