For students interested in pursuing the CFA Designation, The BRIDGE will host a CFA Info Session in September and January every year.

CFA Institute Student Scholarship
|
The CFA Institute Student Scholarship is available for students currently attending an affiliated university and are not currently registered for an exam. Students who receive CFA Institute Student Scholarship will have their exam registration fee reduced to USD400 when they apply for their CFA Level I, Level II or Level III exams. The CFA Exams are offered at the following exam windows: Level I Exam February, May, August, November Your selected exam window must be 23 months or fewer before your graduation month for your bachelor’s degree or equivalent program to sit for your Level I exam Level II Exam May, August, November Your selected exam window must be 11 months or fewer before your graduation month for your bachelor’s degree or equivalent program to sit for your Level II exam. Level III Exam February, August You must have completed your bachelor’s degree or accrued 4,000 hours of professional work experience to sit for your Level III exam. 3-5 students will be selected to receive the CFA Institute Student Scholarship each year. Applications for the CFA Institute Student Scholarship will open on September 1st of each year and will be reviewed on a rolling basis. For students planning to sit for the February and May exams, please apply by October 1st of the previous year. For students planning to sit for the August and November exams, please apply by February 1st of the current year.

CFA Institute Research Challenge
|
The CFA Institute Research Challenge is an annual global competition that provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Each student will be tested on their analytical, valuation, report writing, and presentation skills. They gain real-world experience as they assume the role of a research analyst. 3-5 students will be selected to represent UTSC in the CFA Institute Research Challenge each year. Applications for the CFA Institute Research Challenge will open on September 1st of each year.

CFA Societies Canada Ethics Challenge
|
The CFA Societies Canada Ethics Challenge is designed to increase students’ awareness of the ethical dilemmas and issues they may face as investment management professionals. Teams consisting of students from finance or business programs are given an ethics case to analyze and evaluate. Each team then presents its analysis and recommendations, to a panel of judges, selected by the host CFA Society. Learn more about the CFA Societies Canada Ethics Challenge.

CFA Society Toronto Student Ambassador

The CFA Society Toronto Student Ambassador is a volunteer position with the goal to strengthen relationships between CFA Society Toronto and your university. The CFA Society Toronto Student Ambassador will receive mentorship and networking opportunities with CFA professionals and invitations to exclusive CFA Society Toronto events.
