Students who are pursuing a degree program may take up to 5.0 credits from other UofT campuses (arts and science courses only). First year students may take no more than 1 credit at another campus until they have earned 4.0 credits as a UTSC student.Course enrolment for UTM and St. George courses will open at a later date on ACORN. See the important dates and deadlines listed on the Registrar's Office website for exact dates.
If you are interested in using a course at another campus towards your program requirements, please consult with Urooj Khan (for Food Studies and Women's and Gender Studies; firstname.lastname@example.org) or Heather Seto (for Classical Studies, Global Asia Studies and History; email@example.com) prior to enrolling in the course.
If you intend to complete a course at another campus to fulfill a UTSC breadth requirement, you will need to request to have the course assessed and assigned to one of the 5 UTSC breadth requirement categories by completing The Breadth Requirement Category Request form.
For more information about taking courses at other campuses please see the Registrar's Office website.
You may request special permission by emailing the course instructor and copying Heather Seto (firstname.lastname@example.org), and explaining why you require the course. Please note that requesting special permission does not guarantee enrolment in the course. If the request cannot be accommodated, the department will work with you to find an alternative.
Degree Explorer shows the program requirements based on when the program was added, however the UTSC Calendar website shows the latest version of the Calendar, therefore it is likely that the program requirements have been updated since you added the program. If you would like to switch to the latest version, please contact the Registrar's Office to do so.
