Carpentry, Door and Lock Maintenance

Services provided:

• Custom millwork (cabinets, shelving, lab furniture etc.)
• Building renovations and repairs.
• Labour and materials required will be charged to the department.
• Door and lock hardware maintenance, repair & installation:
  • Key request
    • Medeco keys - $15.00 each
    • Non Medeco keys - $10.00 each 
  • A work order request that requires a lock to be re-keyed or installation of a new cylinder will be charged for labour & materials. Any additional keys will be charged as indicated above.
  • Special Medeco security lock systems
  • Installation of automatic door operators
  • Consulting services on security & hardware systems
  • Any work done on exterior doors, hallway doors, and classroom doors will be the responsibility of FMD. Re-keying a door to a departmental code or any modification to the standard door will be charged to a department
