On February 17-19, 2016 several IDS Co-op students travelled to Ottawa to interact with various actors in the International Development field based in Ottawa. Programming for this event included a networking breakfast hosted by UTSC and the Aga Khan Foundation Canada (AKFC), a workshop and case study hosted by AKFC, a development panel discussion with several development professionals on the Sustainable Development goals, and an information session with Alumni from the IDS Co-op program who are now involved with Global Affairs Canada. This event was a great opportunity for IDS students to further develop their understanding of the opportunities within the development field and enabled them to network with development professionals based in Ottawa.
