IDS Programs

CCDS Seminar

The Department of Global Development Studies offers seven different undergraduate programs of study in IDS. The department also houses the Minor Program in African Studies. 

  1. Specialist (Co-operative) Program in International Development Studies (Arts), requires 15.0 credits to complete and has limited enrollment.
  2. Specialist (Co-operative) Program in International Development Studies (Science), requires 15.5 credits to complete and has limited enrollment.
  3. Specialist Program in International Development Studies (Arts), requires 13.0 credits to complete and is open to all UTSC students.
  4. Specialist Program in International Development Studies (Science), requires 13.5 credits to complete and is open to all UTSC students.
  5. Major Program in International Development Studies (Arts), requires 8.0 credits to complete and is open to all UTSC students.
  6. Minor Program in International Development Studies (Arts), requires 4.0 credits to complete and is open to all UTSC students.
  7. Certificate in Global Development, Environment, and Health (U of T Global Scholar), requires 2.0 credits to complete and is open to all UTSC students
