Leah (McMillan) Polonenko has wide-ranging experience in the field of International Development. She has just returned to Canada after living and working in the United Arab Emirates. Leah has an MA in International Development Studies from St. Mary's University and a Ph.D. in Global Governance, Global Justice & Human Rights from Wilfrid Laurier University (2011). Leah has worked as a practitioner in the field with experience in several African countries such as Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Rwanda, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. She has significant experience with study abroad programs and global educational exchanges at the university level, acting as the International Study Abroad Coordinator at Tyndale University for 5 years. She is very well networked within the international development field. Both the CCDS faculty and students would like to extend our warm welcome to Leah. Welcome to the CCDS family!
