2022 John H. Moss Scholarship Recipient: Katherine Todd

Congratulations to UTSC Political Science student Katherine Todd on being the 2022 recipient of the John H. Moss Scholarship. The John H. Moss Scholarship is awarded to outstanding undergraduate students in Arts and Science at the University of Toronto (St. George, Mississauga and Scarborough campuses), who are intending to pursue a second degree or studies at the graduate level. The award recognizes academic achievement and extra-curricular involvement.

Katherine Todd

Katherine has been an outstanding leader both at UTSC and within the community. She has served as a part- time Naval Officer in the reserves, hosts a podcast called Voice Above, volunteers in her federal riding as her local MP's Constituency Youth Council Coordinator, serves on the executive board of her federal riding association, and is a public speaker with Historica Canada's Memory Project.

Her favourite part of studying at UTSC is being able to discuss ideas and learn from her professors at UTSC. She notes that Associate Professors Renan Levine and Robert Schertzer, specifically, have been inspiring teachers and fantastic mentors in her studies.

Katherine aspires to work in the federal public service, and will be continuing her studies next year at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law.
