Zak Rhemtulla

Zak Rhemtulla is a fourth-year student specializing in Political Science. He serves as President of the Political Science Students’ Association (PSSA), having been a member of the executive since his first year. Zak is excited to be leading PSSA into the 2023-2024 academic year and aims to continue the club’s success in a variety of areas. PSSA has provided him the opportunity to meet and work alongside a multitude of phenomenal individuals, including faculty, staff, and students within the Department of Political Science. Zak is most passionate about Canadian politics, federalism, and international relations, having taken some phenomenal courses within the department. Zak is also involved with a major political party, has worked on campaigns at all three levels of government, and recently completed an internship on Parliament Hill. Moving forward, Zak is excited to continue learning from and working with his peers as well as the exceptional faculty and staff within the Department of Political Science.
