Biography

Keith Colaco earned his PhD from the Institute of Medical Science, Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. He conducts clinical research at Women’s College Hospital and University Health Network. His research is focused on cardiovascular disease in adults with inflammatory skin and joint diseases. His team's research comprise epidemiological and cohort studies that have been published in leading peer-reviewed journals in dermatology and rheumatology, including The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases.

Keith is interested in enhancing career development and planning opportunities for undergraduate students and research trainees. Of note, he serves as the External Affairs Officer for the Canadian Arthritis Trainee Association and collaborates with external stakeholders to facilitate professional development of trainees across Canada.
