Rozina Ramrattan embarked on her healthcare journey in 2006 as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) after graduating from Centennial College. In 2011, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University), followed by her Critical Care Graduate Certificate in 2012 from George Brown College under the support of her hospital. In October of 2023, Rozina will graduate from the University of Western Ontario’s Master of Clinical Science program with a focus on Advanced Health Care Practice.

Rozina dedicated eight years as a bedside nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at her hospital, showcasing exceptional skills and unwavering commitment to high-stakes patient care. In 2020, Rozina's career shifted towards leadership, and included interim supervisory roles for both Cardiology and the Nursing Resource Team and a Clinical Educator role for the ICU, where she mentored aspiring healthcare professionals, sharing her expertise and fostering compassion.

Presently, Rozina holds the position of Clinical Resource Leader for In-patient Surgery, focusing on driving innovation and excellence in surgical care.
