Director, International and Global Engagement

Reporting to the vice-president of the University of Toronto and principal of the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC), the Director, International and Global Engagement, is responsible for coordinating and supporting initiatives that build the UTSC’s strategic position in regard to internationalization, in line with UTSC’s Inspiring Inclusive Excellence and the University of Toronto’s overall international strategy and vision. 

The Director supports the implementation of UTSC’s international engagement priorities in line with the campus’s mission and vision, with the goal of enhancing global academic program partnerships, research networks, entrepreneurship and innovation partnerships, advancement and alumni, and UTSC’s overall outreach. Working in close collaboration with portfolios across campus that deliver international programs and services, the Director provides research expertise and administrative support to shape, strengthen and coordinate a strategic, coherent and integrated approach to international activities, including pursuing new international initiatives.

International Student Centre, Office of Student Experience and Wellbeing

The International Student Centre supports international students studying at the University of Toronto Scarborough. They also support all UTSC students to develop their intercultural skills and global mindfulness through Global Learning programs and Global Mobility opportunities.
 
Transition advisors assist international, exchange students and newcomers with Immigration and Transition support, and can answer any questions staff and faculty may have.
