Welcome to the Department of Arts, Culture and Media (ACM) at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC), a vibrant new department that brings together a wealth of artistic and academic activity under one umbrella.

Composed of eight distinct disciplines – Art History, Arts Management, Journalism, Media Studies, New Media Studies, Music & Culture, Studio, and Theatre & Performance Studies – the department provides opportunities for students who want to explore a variety of artistic and academic endeavours. With faculty who practice across a wide range of artistic fields and have scholarly interests in a multiplicity of academic areas, the Department of Arts, Culture and Media (ACM) offers students the chance to study in a single discipline, or to follow a number of multi- and interdisciplinary offerings that are unique to UTSC. Students within the department also benefit from the specialized arts facilities that are available and from an array of exciting and engaging events and programming.
