I completed a Ph.D. in Urban-Economic Geography in 1974. I have had an appointment at UTSC since 1976. I am editor-in-chief of the Canadian Journal of Regional Science. I have taught courses in Advanced quantitative methods, Core course in Human Geography, Data analysis, Economic geography, Economy of cities, Geography of competition, GIS and empirical reasoning, Housing and housing policy, Location and spatial development, Location theory, Matrix models, Metropolitan development and planning, Planning, Population geography, Quantitative analysis, Real estate and the city, Regional science, Residential geography, Urban and regional modeling, Urban geography, Urban transportation planning, Urban transportation policy analysis.
