Undergraduate Summer Research Awards

These awards from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) provide funding which enables students with excellent academic records to work with a faculty member on a research project for the summer.  This year the Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences has 2 awards that are available for exceptional students. University of Toronto Excellence Awards

The UTEA program provides eligible undergraduate students with opportunities to conduct summer research projects under the supervision of eligible U of T faculty members in the Natural Sciences & Engineering (UTEA-NSE) or Social Sciences and Humanities (UTEA-SSH). The UTEA is an allocation-based program, through which UTSC is allocated a limited number of UTEA awards. Click here for more information on UTEA's.
