Biography

Raised in Vietnam, in a family business of plants, and on a staple diet of rice, Wayne Huynh is very passionate about plants in general and is especially interested in growing rice in the CCWHR’s core laboratory, that of Professor Herbert Kronzucker. As a Horticulturist and a Lab Technician, he is eager to make his own small contributions to global rice research. He states: “I am fortunate to work in one of the most productive labs at UofT, and very gratified to see rice plants developed for a better future”.  He has been growing rice plants at UTSC to yield for many years.
