In partnership with the UTSC Co-op Students' AssociationOpens an external site in a new window, Arts & Science Co-op hosted our first-ever Co-op Case Competition, a virtual competition for all Arts & Science Co-op students. The focus of the competition was health care, education and environmentalism, with the theme of the impact of COVID-19. The winner of this year's competition is team COVID Busters and their topic on Academic Stressors for University Students in the Era of COVID-19. Congratulations to Misha Balouch, Momina Ahmed, Fatima Altaf, Dhara Chauhan, and Sara Aman!

"Our presentation focused on the academic stressors for university students in the current era of COVID-19, specifically its impact on mental health. We further analyzed and critiqued 3 solutions: (1) Synchronous vs. Asynchronous learning, (2) Expansion of affordable and accessible internet, and (3) Expansion and better accessibility of online mental health services." - COVID Busters

The Quarantiners received an honorable mention for their work on the Environmental Impact of Personal Protective Equipment During COVID-19.
