All students accepted into graduate programs at the University of Toronto receive a funding package that includes a guaranteed minimum income of $24,239/year for Canadian students or permanent residents or $33,654/year for international students (2010/11). This stipend is derived from a combination of sources: scholarships and fellowships, teaching assistantships and support from the research supervisor's grant.
