Two UTSC Sociology teaching assistants have been honoured in the 2023 UTSC Teaching Awards.
Bahar Hashemi and Paul Pritchard both received an award in the Unit 1 Graduate Teaching Assistant category. The annual award recognizes teaching excellence.
“I am grateful to be chosen for this award,” said Bahar Hashemi. “It has been a privilege to be part of the UTSC teaching community and to continuously learn from my mentors and my students. This recognition is a big honour and inspires me to continue improving my pedagogical work.”
“I am honoured and grateful for this recognition,” said Paul Pritchard. “I want to acknowledge professors Kathy Liddle and Dani Kwan-Lafond, both of whom have contributed so much to the development of my teaching craft and teacher identity through their mentorship and educational leadership.
