All students living in Residence are required to participate in the mandatory meal plan.

Accepting your residence offer is an automatic acceptance of the Meal Plan and an acceptance of all its terms and conditions. All costs and fees associated with the meal plan are included in your residence fees.

All Access Meal Plans 2023 - 2024

Introducing the NEW All Access Residence Meal Plan at UTSC! This meal plan will allow students more flexibility, convenience and value that suits student's life style throughout their time with us. With unlimited access to the Harmony Commons dining hall, residents can stop by for a quick healthy snack or a full hearty meal.

Meal Plans and TBucks

All new first year residences are required to select from one of the two residence meals plans (5 Day Meal Plan or the 7 Day Meal Plan). 

The 7 Day All Access Meal Plan** is unlimited access to the new residence dining hall during regular hours of operations and the late night station 7 days a weeks. This includes access to customizable stations (pasta, deli, salad, grill, gourmet pizza station, etc,) snacks and beverages. $150 TBucks is included and can be used at applicable retail service locations such as laundry, printing, food services, Bookstore, etc. at the Scarborough and St. George campuses. 

The 5 Day All Access Meal Plan** is unlimited access to the new residence dining hall during regular hours of operations and the late night station 5 days a weeks (Monday - Friday). This includes access to customizable stations (pasta, deli, salad, grill, gourmet pizza station, etc), snacks and beverages. $150 TBucks is included and can be used at applicable retail service locations such as laundry, printing, food services, Bookstore, etc. at the Scarborough and St. George campuses.  

TBucks: TBucks is a universal Flex Dollars widely accepted across both Scarborough and St George Campus. TBucks can be re-loaded at anytime, and it is the only way to pay for the late night station (at the dining hall), laundry, printing, and retail food outlets on campus. In addition, you can purchase taxable confectionary items (chips, soft drinks, etc) or for textbooks and payment for department services on UofT mobile ordering app. TBucks can be purchased by anyone holding a TCard for use on the St. George and U of T Scarborough Campuses (TBucks Policy).

All Access Meal Plan Q&A

You can request to change your meal plan until September 28, 2023 by emailing tcardplus@utoronto.ca. After September 28, 2023, you can no longer make changes to your meal plan status.

Yes, additional TBucks are available for purchase online via eAccounts. You can use your TBucks at all food locations on campus, as well as, at campus stores.

Your meal plan will become active at the start of the 2023 Fall semester and will remain active for use during operational hours until the end of the Winter 2024 semester (excluding the Winter Break).

Yes! Friends and family are always welcome at the Fresh Food Company. Anyone who does not have a meal plan can pay with cash, debit, credit or TBucks. You can also treat your friend to a meal using the Meal Plan Guest Pass.

The Late Night Cafe is available daily beginning at 9:00pm. This program utilizes your TBucks for payment of items. Only the Late Night station will be open, and the menu can be found on the UTSC Food website.

Yes. We are happy to be able to accommodate a variety of dietary needs, such as, allergies, food intolerances, vegetarian, vegan, no-gluten, halal and other restrictions or preferences.

Yes, students who hold a 5-day all access meal plan user can eat at Harmony Commons on weekends, they will have to simply pay the door rate at the time of entrance. 

If you are a first year residence student the meal plan payment will automatically be applied to your ACORN for more information contact your residence office residence.utsc@utoronto.ca.
