Embracing New Challenges

Karen Gil Sánchez, Management and International Business (BBA Co-op) candidate, University of Toronto Scarborough completed her co-op term at Samsung and was the recent recipient of the Work Term Excellence Award.

She encourages future UTSC students  to embrace new challenges and connect with others throughout their academic journeys and beyond. Seeking a co-op position can be daunting, however it's an opportunity to broaden one’s skills and experiences. She shares, "I encourage my peers and mentees to have confidence in their abilities and remain open to receive feedback, as it’s essential for continuous growth and improvement. Lastly, I urge them to approach everything with passion, determination, and enthusiasm."
