From February to April 2021, Water Pathways is hosting a series of seminars (Water Frontiers Seminar Series, WFSS) given by invited speakers from local conservation authorities, environmental associations, government agencies and eNGOs.
A brief presentation will provide background on the activities, responsibilities, and capabilities of these agencies, concluding with an overview of the most pressing challenges and critical questions they have in achieving their water-related goals and objectives.
The presentation will be followed with a focused discussion, where we will engage in knowledge co-generation, investigating how we can leverage the university’s resources (scientific expertise, field and lab equipment, and high quality undergraduate and graduate student researchers) to help address the real-world problems these agencies face.
