Oral Presentations

  • 10-minute oral presentations with 3-5 minute Q&A session.
  • Oral presentations can use visual aids (e.g. Microsoft PowerPoint presentation). Please ensure your presentation will run on Zoom on the day of your talk.
  • Moderators will be present in each session to ensure timely presentations and facilitate discussions.
  • Presentations should have the following sections: background, research question, hypothesis, methods, results, conclusions, and significance.
  • All presentations must be live with camera on, unless an explanation has been provided to the IGRAD committee. No pre-recorded presentations.

Judging

Each presenter will be judged by audience members based on the following criteria:

  1. Presentation Introduction
  2. Presentation Style
  3. Slide Quality
  4. Overall Quality
  5. Responses to Questions
