Shannon De Mello

Shannon has been fundraising for over a decade with a strong background in board and committee relations and event sponsorship. Starting in the healthcare sector, working for Michael Garron Hospital Foundation, Shannon developed a passion for connecting a company's values or strategic goals to supporting fundraising initiatives. She moved over to higher education joining Humber College's Advancement and Alumni team in 2020.  

As a proud first generation Canadian, Shannon strongly believes in the value of keeping cultural traditions alive and the continued development of equality education creating a safe community for every person. As SDO at UTSC, her goal is to build strong and meaningful relationships with organizations and Foundations that understand the importance of supporting our students, staff, faculty and programs to create paths for the leaders of tomorrow.
