Benefit from tax reductions when you donate public securities. Donating public securities is a tax-smart way to support UTSC. The value of your charitable tax receipt is based on the market closing price on the day that UTSC receives your gift in its brokerage account.

International Gifts
Not a resident of Canada? Alumni and friends around the world can still help University of Toronto Scarborough in its mission.
You may make special donation arrangements to receive a Hong Kong, U.K., or United States tax receipt. If you live in another country, you may use our online donation platform to make a gift in Canadian dollars and we will send you a Canadian tax receipt.
Gifts in kind
A wide range of non-cash donations, such as books, real estate, artwork, special equipment and other tangible personal property, are commonly referred to as gifts in kind.
Gifts in kind can be designated to any area of the University, such as UTSC Library, galleries, programs, faculties, schools, departments or divisions.
