Mobeen Lalani (BSc 2019 UTSC) joined the TIAP - Toronto Innovation Acceleration Partners (TIAP) as a Technology and Venture Development Analyst part of the Venture Builder Program. TIAP partners with Member institutions, industry, and investors to transform health science innovation into successful globally recognized ventures. Prior to TIAP, Mobeen worked at a DTC telehealth technology start-up as a sales and business development leader, supported healthcare innovation and strategy for Canada’s leading pharmacy retailer, and collaborated with teams on the development of health data transformation strategies in primary care. Mobeen was recently awarded the 2023 Emerging Leader Award from Digital Health Canada and recognized on The Peak's 2023 Emerging Leaders list, celebrating accomplished Canadians making a notable impact in their field.
Mobeen holds a Master of Health Informatics and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Population Health from the University of Toronto and a certificate in Health Law and AI in Healthcare from the University of Ottawa.
