Goals & Objectives:
- Developing collaborative research initiatives in feminist pedagogy
- Inviting feminist scholars at the University of Toronto to share their experiences in teaching and developing women’s studies courses/programs with the Chinese workshop participants.
- Developing a multimedia resource kit to support teaching and design of women’s studies programs.
- Establishing a collaboration for sustainable capacity building
Expected Outcomes:
- Developing one or two research proposals that build on the expertise and common interests of the Chinese and Canadian Scholars
- Producing multimedia resource kit that serves the teaching needs of feminist curriculum development
