Free Store

The Free Store at UTSC is a unique space for students where they can find gently used household items that they need for free. By collecting unwanted items from students, the Free Store encourages a circular economy on campus and re-directs items that would otherwise end up in landfill, giving them a second life.

The Free Store is located behind the UTSC Student Residence Centre, in the Elm townhouse complex. The Free Store accepts donations of gently used household appliances, kitchen utensils, etc; for a complete list, check out the drop down menu below.

The Free Store is run by the student group Regenesis UTSC with support from the CECCS Wendy Adams Student Sustainability Grant, UTSC Student Housing & Residence Life, and UTSC Sustainability Office.
