We had a regular CL@UT meeting on  Thursday, November 28.

Bill presented a new study, entitled “Thermal Signatures“. The study includes the latest study for fog detection at Churchill, Manitoba and peri-urban landscapes in Toronto. For the fog detection study, he presented two new methods using several case studies (theoretical considerations). For the study of the peri-urban landscapes, he revisited Mohsin and Gough 2012 work, Impact of Climate Change on the Extremes of Observed Daily Temperature Data in the Greater Toronto Area, and examined the DTD changes with a new temperature variability framework.
