There's no shortage of time spent when it comes to prepping Arts & Science co-op students for work terms in their respective fields.
With D01, D03 and D11 prep courses being a vital component in helping you learn valuable skills regarding resume and cover letter writing, interview prep, and overall seeking guidance, it's safe to say that you'll be well-prepared when seeking your co-op work terms.
In addition to these courses, we're now offering a new resource for Arts & Sciences students: Coffee Chats, where you can drop in and speak to various upper-year Peer Coaches who have sought, secured and worked in different co-op fields, sharing their experiences and providing advice on what seeking students will be experiencing shortly.
Each Coffee Chat will focus on a main topic such as:
- Networking, The Do’s and Don'ts(January 15 from 3-4pm in IC150);
- Interview Prep (details coming);
- and more.
With these Coffee Chats being central on particular areas of focus, you'll be able to ask specific questions and hear real-life experiences from those who were once in their shoes … all while enjoying complimentary coffee and treats!
